Nothing too graphic but explaining pet over population due to irresponsible pet ownership, buying through pet stores/puppy mills and back yard/irresponsible breeders…how to be a good owner, about how important adoption is, etc.

    It depends on the child’s age and if they are mature for their age or enough not to get too upset about it.
